***My Story***

Hello I am Ashley Willms. My name has become Ashley Perspective and I would like to share with you my story and a bit about why I created this blog. 

One day I had come home from school and like always my parents were fighting and screaming at each other. I walked into the house and as I was heading upstairs my dad yells up to me to put my backpack away. I ran back down, grabbed it and ran back to my room. I threw it down and ran back downstairs before walking out the door and slamming it shut. My parents yelled at me not to slam the door and then continued yelling at each other. I was not at peace at all. It seemed like everyone around me was in a very bad mood, and of course I was too...how could I not be? I began to walk around my neighborhood. Walking always helped me stay calm whenever my parents would fight. As I was walking down the sidewalk I noticed something on the ground. As I got closer I saw it was a pair of sunglasses, or so I thought. I picked them up and tried them on and as soon as I did the world around me completely changed. I knew I was still on earth but everything looked so beautiful and I felt at peace, and joyful. I looked over towards the corner where I noticed a woman and man talking to each other. I would guess they're talking about me since the lady had pointed towards me. She walked over and said "Hello, my name is Jess, I saw you put those glasses on and you have been chosen." "Chosen for what?" I asked. "When you put those glasses on the world looked different right?" she asked. "Yeah..." I replied. "You have been chosen to wear these glasses to show the world the perspective that you have. And that is called Positivity. Your new name will be Ashley Perspective because you have a positive perspective." she told me. I was really excited to use my new gift. I went back home and as I did, my parents were still fighting but I felt at peace. That is how I've become Ashley Perspective. Now there are some people that  don't believe in the whole positivity movement but sometimes it's something you have to be gifted with. You have to be willing to accept it. I created this site to give others opportunity to learn about it and hopefully change their outlook on life too. You may be dealing with depression, feeling lonely, just lost a friend/family member, but I promise as soon as you put those glasses on and look through the lens of a positive joyful heart...you'll begin to see the world differently too.
